Location

The Whitehall Hotel is only one mile from Darwen town centre, and is a short drive from the surrounding areas of Blackburn and Bolton. The hotel is situated just off the A666 close to the M65.

Darwen is renowned for its moors, hills and valleys and is home to the famous India Mill and Darwen Tower. There is a selection of walks and rambles to enjoy near the hotel. We are a ten-minute drive from Bold Venture Park that reaches the base of the Pennines. There is a beautiful lake and a fantastic waterfall for you to enjoy, preferably with a Whitehall picnic basket!

Directions

From the M6

Leave the M6 at Junction 29, following signs for Blackburn (M65).

At Junction 4 of the M65, take the fourth exit on the roundabout.

At the traffic lights turn left onto the A666.

Continue on this road for 2.5 miles and turn right onto Park Road.

At the T-junction turn right, and then turn down the road immediately to your left.

Follow this road to the end and you will have arrived at The Whitehall Hotel.

From the M61

At Junction 2 of the M61 take the Bolton exit (A666).

Continue along the A666 for 10 miles, through Bolton and into Darwen.

Turn left onto Park Road and continue up the hill.

At the first T-junction turn right, and then turn down the road immediately to your left.

Follow this road to the end and you will have arrived at The Whitehall Hotel.
